Declared as a Deemed University by UGC in 2001, VIT University was founded in 1984 as Vellore Engineering College.

Eligibility: 

For MSSE - Minimum aggregate of 60% in PCM in class 12 is required.  For the B.Sc. (Multimedia & Animation): Minimum of 60% in class 12 is required/Diploma with 60% can also apply  For All others Subjects - Minimum of 60% in class 12 is required.
