While flashing custom ROM firmwares, you might have noticed that you use a custom recovery TWRP. The TWRP also helps in taking backups. This TWRP recovery is now be made available for ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T. Many devices use CWM (clock Work Mod) recovery but TWRP recovery is better than CWM and is a step ahead. It provides an appropriate touch-interface specially for tables. It is also featured with options for high speed ROM backups & restores, themes supports, a pre-installed file manager that gives on-screen keyboard.
Take care that you do not try the procedure given below to any other device except ASUS Transformer PAD Infinity. Steps to install TWRP custom Recovery on ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity
- Unlock the boot loader.
- From Google PLAY store, download ‘GooManager’ app. if it is absent on Google then download .APK file and install tis file manually using File Manager. This needs Unknown Sources to be enabled by choosing security from settings.
- On your Tab, open GooManager and provide root access to it. This can be done by [pressing Allow/Grant key.
- Open Menu now, and select “Install Open- Recovery Script”. Keep on confirming the dialogue boxes by pressing yes on every pop-up. Download initializes here.
- It completes the Download and reboots the device. That initializes the installation of TWRP recovery.
- Open GooManager app and select the ‘reboot recovery button’ that makes it to reboot in recovery mode.
You are successful in installing the TWRP recovery to ASUS Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T. Now you can easily flash the custom ROM Firmwares and have the experience to use them.
