Here we have the official version of ICS 4.0.4 firmware exclusively for Galaxy Note N7000 also known as XXLRQ Firmware. This is an advanced of the previously released XXLRK and is truly advanced in every aspect, say, highly stable Modem and other super advanced features. This firmware, being official, eliminates all the bugs and issues occurring due to Wi-Fi or other Network problems. The gallery used for TIZEN OS, is now adopted in this firmware.

• Backup: Installing this update will erase all the data and of course you don’t want the data on your phone to vanish. So as a precaution, keep a backup for all of it.   Steps to install Official firmware in Galaxy Note N7000:

  • Get the package: To install this firmware, you will first need its package – “XXLR1 Firmware Package” as well as “Odin” in your phone. If you don’t have it, then download the same zip files.
  • Unzip those packages: After downloading, you got to unzip them and have the following tar file: “N700XXLRQ_N7000DBTLRQ_N7000XXLRK_HOME.tar.mds” and executable file of Odin.
  • Enter Download Mode: press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power keys. Warning appears on the screen and to continue, keep pressing Volume Up.
  • START: select ‘PDA’ (to choose the above mentioned tar file) >> click START. Applying this update may take about 5 minutes before the appearance of Home screen. The device reboots on its own. Disconnect the device from the PC.
  • Force Close Errors: In that case, switch OFF, go back to recovery mode and choose “Wipe data/factory resset”and “Wipe Cache partition”.
